On Friday, May 30, former Columbus High School standout Ben Schorr’s current collegiate team the Auburn Tigers won 9-5 against the Central Connecticut Blue Devils in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Central Connecticut Blue Devils in the tournament.

The Auburn Tigers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 8 p.m. at Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park.
