On Saturday, Nov. 22, former George Washington Carver High School standout Braylon Jakes’ current collegiate team the Albany State Golden Rams won 35-30 against the Valdosta State Blazers in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at ASU Coliseum at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Valdosta State Blazers in the tournament.
The Albany State Golden Rams’ next game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. at ASU Coliseum.
