Chattahoochee County schools move to virtual learning for basketball playoffs

On March 5, 2026, the Chattahoochee County School District announced a schedule change for all students and staff. The district will hold a virtual learning day on Friday, March 6, 2026.

The decision was made to support the Boys Basketball Team, which has advanced to the state playoffs Final Four. The district stated: “Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Team for making it to the state playoffs Final Four! To encourage participation and accommodate transportation needs, we have declared FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2026 as a VIRTUAL LEARNING DAY for all students and staff in the Chattahoochee County School District.”
