The Harris County Board of Tax Assessors will be sending out the 2025 Annual Notice of Assessment to all property owners around June 24, 2025. The notice will have a new format this year due to legislative changes, although the upper section remains unchanged.

For those interested in appealing their property’s assessed value, information and forms are available on the Tax Assessor’s Office website. Completed forms can be mailed to P.O. Box 445, Hamilton, Georgia 31811, emailed to taxassessors@harriscountyga.gov, or delivered in person at 102 N College Street, Hamilton, GA by August 8, 2025.

The notice is not a property tax bill; actual bills will be issued by the Tax Commissioner’s Office in early October with taxes due by December 20.
