The River Valley Regional Commission (RVRC) will host a Community Conversation on May 12 to gather input for Georgia’s next State Plan on Aging, according to an April 6 announcement.
The event aims to involve older adults, caregivers, service providers, and other community stakeholders in shaping the direction of services and policies affecting seniors across the state. The State Plan on Aging is developed with guidance from public feedback and plays a key role in setting priorities for aging-related programs.
Community members are invited to share their ideas and experiences either in person or online. RVRC encourages broad participation so that the plan reflects diverse perspectives from across Georgia. Registration information is available through RVRC’s provided link.
For those unable to attend in person, additional options are offered for submitting feedback. Participants can access a QR code via the event flyer to ensure their voices are heard.
Input collected during this conversation will help inform decisions about future services and support systems for older adults throughout Georgia.
