Vice President Mike Pence rallied in Columbus today for the reelection campaigns of incumbent Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.).
“We’re going to keep fighting for every legal vote in America. And we’re going to keep fighting to hold the line in the United States Senate. We’re gonna win Georgia, and we’re gonna save America,” Pence said.
Pence’s visit came as a judge acknowledged 200,000 voters in Georgia had been improperly removed from voter rolls and would not be able to vote in the election.
“I’m really grateful that you all came out today, I truly am,” Pence said. “And to each and every one of you, I’ll make you a promise. As our election contest continues in courthouses across the land, we’re going to keep fighting until every legal vote is counted, we’re gonna keep fighting until every illegal vote is thrown out, and we will never stop fighting to make America great again.”
Loeffler has been pinned as a possible challenger to the Electoral College vote. The vote has already been challenged in the House and needs a challenger in the Senate before a formal challenge is heard.
The races will determine control of the U.S. Senate and have been called the most important runoffs ever.
