SGTC Transportation Program Tours Available

South Georgia Technical College issued the following announcement on July 22.

TOURS OF THE AUTO COLLISION AND REPAIR, AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND DIESEL EQUIPMENT TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS WILL BE HELD, FRIDAY, JULY 23RD.

    South Georgia Technical College is hosting program tours of the Transportation programs housed in the Morgan Diesel and Automotive Center on the Americus campus on Friday, July 23rd from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

  Great career opportunities are available to individuals interested in pursuing careers as automotive technicians, diesel equipment technicians and auto collision repair technicians. For more information about a tour of the Automotive Technology lab, the Auto Collision and Repair classroom and lab area, the Diesel Equipment Technology program or other areas, email Candy Walters at cwalters@southgatech.edu or call the admissions office at 229-931-2299.

   Registration for Fall semester is currently underway.  SGTC will be hosting an in-person orientation and registration day on Monday, August 16th in the Pope Center on the Americus campus at 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.  and on the Crisp County Campus in Cordele during the same times.  Individuals can apply, enroll, and register in one day.  On-campus housing applications and financial aid applications can also be completed.  Classes start August 18th!  It is not too late to apply!
