Emergency Bulky Waste Pick-Up & Delivery Services Needed

City of Columbus recently issued the following announcement.

EMERGENCY BULKY WASTE PICK-UP

& DELIVERY SERVICES

NEEDED

The Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking to contract with individuals and/or small

businesses to pick up Bulky Waste (household appliances, couches, mattresses, etc.) as well as

large piles of branches. (No Mixed Loads will be accepted)

The individuals/small business will be paid $250/ton to provide this service. They can deliver

as many tons as they can to Pine Grove Landfill within the allotted timeline of August 16th

through September 30th. They must have their own vehicle.

The following criteria must be met to qualify to provide this service:

• Current Business License (Any type)

• Liability Insurance

• E-Verify

• W-9 Form

• Hold Harmless Agreement

Certain equipment is needed to pick up the material outlined above. For those persons who

are interested in taking part in this program/service, contact Drale Short below and she can

tell you what is needed and answer any of your specific questions about the program/service

to be provided and get you started.
