Appling County Elementary School issued the following announcement on March 22.
Marion County Middle High School recently took home two first place awards at the Chattahoochee-Flint RESA Georgia Movie Academy competition held at Georgia Southwestern State University. We had representation in middle and high school, and both teams won "Best Picture". The teams worked diligently over the course of a few months creating a three-minute movie focusing on the theme "Dream Big". Each team will advance to the state competition on May 13 in Columbus, GA. We are very proud of the hard work each team has done!
Middle School Team: Ellie Addison, Charlize Delong, Jacob Hagin, Haley Howell, Bella Murray, Abby Penoncello, and Sam Roberts
High School Team: Mollie Beth Johnson, Corey Mitchell, Will Penoncello, Molly Pollock, and Sannah Taylor
Coaches: Ashleigh Butler, Erin Roberts, and Jami Welch
