Today the Georgia GOHS, Georgia Department of Public Safety, Law Enforcement Division - Georgia DNR, and local agencies kicked off the “Belt and Jackets” Safety Tour in lieu of the upcoming Memorial holiday weekend. This campaign serves as the kick off for the statewide the 100 Days of Summer H.E.A.T. (Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic) campaign and the Click It or Ticket seatbelt campaign. In efforts to ensure safety on the road and water this Memorial Day Weekend. We ask that you do three things to help us:
Wear your safety belt.
Don’t be a Distracted Driving
Do not drink and drive or boat under the influence.
