This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and
Central Georgia.
Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across central and
portions of north Georgia this afternoon, mainly along and south
of the I-85 corridor. A few storms could become strong to severe,
mainly in east-central Georgia. The primary severe hazard will be
damaging wind gusts. All thunderstorms will be capable of
producing frequent lightning and locally heavy rainfall.
A Marginal Risk (1 out of 5) is in effect for portions of east GA today, where isolated afternoon thunderstorms will be capable of a few localized severe wind gusts. All storms will be capable of frequent lightning and heavy rain. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors! #gawx
