There are 43 inmates sentenced to jail in Dooly County who will be released from the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections during the third quarter of 2022.

The inmate being released serving the longest sentence is Lawrence Lawson Carroll for Cruelty to Children. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Georgia imprisons a higher percentage of its population than any other democracy in the world, locking up 968 per 100,000 people.
