***Please Share***Crisp County EMA Winter Weather Update***
Communities across the state are going to experience historically cold temperatures beginning Thursday night lasting through Saturday. Very cold temperatures, gusty winds, and negative wind chill values are expected in north and central Georgia. Federal, state, and local partners have taken additional measures to prepare for this event! We urge citizens to prepare now!
Don't forget the 4 P’s (People, Pets, Pipes, and Plants)
Check on your neighbors and vulnerable citizens.
Be cautious using alternative heating sources as they could cause structure fires or carbon monoxide poisoning.
Dress in layers!
