***PLEASE SHARE SCAM ALERT***
We have received reports of citizens receiving unsolicited calls regarding their power. Reports include scammers identifying themselves as employees and telling individuals they are overdue on their power bills. They provide a secondary number to call. THIS IS A SCAM! Please do not call the secondary number or share any personal information for bill payment. We advise everyone to use discretion with unsolicited, cold calls, EVEN IF the caller's identity is disguised as a local business or government. Please do not release any personal information over the phone. Please share this information with your elderly loved ones; scammers often try to take advantage of vulnerable members of our community. #ScamAlert
