If possible please do not travel. There are multiple reports of downed power lines and trees over the roadway. Give first responders time to identify the areas, and allow Crisp County Public Works and Crisp County Power an opportunity to work safely. According to the Crisp County Power Commission there are a little over 4,000 citizens without power. First responders are aware and are working diligently clear roadways and restore power.
If you must travel please use caution. Never drive over a downed power line. If you approach an intersection and the traffic light is out the intersection should be treated as a four way stop.
