2021 has 6.7% of Schley County residents unemployed

Schley County recorded an unemployment rate of 6.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 147 people out of the 4,622 living in Schley County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Schley County has decreased compared to the 8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Schley County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
