Taylor County High School had the highest enrollment among Taylor County schools, welcoming 356 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50% of them were male, and 50% were female.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 54% of the Taylor County High School total enrollment.

Among the four schools in Taylor County, Taylor County Middle School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 270 students, while Taylor County Primary School welcomed 270 students to be ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.

Taylor County High School is part of Taylor County School District, which generally encompasses schools within Taylor County, with its main office in Butler.

In the previous school year, Taylor County High School also had the highest number of students among Taylor County schools.

According to the Georgia Department of Education, over 1.6 million students were enrolled in Georgia's public schools during the 2021-22 school year. The state boasted a diverse and closely distributed student body across grade levels, with roughly 44% of the students in elementary, 24.5% in middle school, and 31.5% in high schools.

The state also registered an ethnically diverse student body, with 34.4% of the students identified as white, 36.5% as Black, 17.1% as Hispanic, and 4.5% as Asian.
