The school’s total enrollment reached 1,144 students for 2024-25. White students represented 41% of that population, standing as the school’s largest demographic group.

Chronic absenteeism continues to challenge Georgia schools after the pandemic, with 20.7% of students absent for at least 10% of school days in 2024, according to the Georgia Department of Education. In response, GaDOE initiated a statewide effort featuring a real-time attendance dashboard, a public outreach campaign, and targeted resources for high-need districts to encourage attendance.
Lawmakers in Georgia approved an update to attendance policies in 2025, prohibiting expulsion of students based solely on absenteeism. The legislation also introduced new reporting standards and aligns with initiatives supporting alternative diploma routes for students (see details).
By 2026, Georgia reported an average student-teacher ratio of roughly 14:1, surpassing the national average of 15:1.
