Harris County is participating in a regional housing study aimed at evaluating the current housing situation and predicting future workforce requirements. This study will involve public contributions. The assessment is organized by the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley and conducted by Georgia Tech’s Center for Economic Development Research. Counties included in the study are Harris, Muscogee, Talbot, Chattahoochee, Marion, and Stewart in Georgia, alongside Russell and Lee in Alabama.
Georgia Tech has initiated an online survey to collect opinions from the community regarding the housing conditions in the area. This survey is available until April 30.
